First Lady Madam Sajidha Mohamed attended the annual ceremony of ‘Fiyavathi,’ the children’s center in Hulhumalé. The event took place this evening at Farukolhufushi, where the First Lady watched performances by the children and handed out gifts.
She also spent time with the children, joining them for snacks and conversations. Additionally, a ‘Game Room’ donated by the Housing Development Corporation (HDC) was officially given to Fiyavathi during the ceremony.
Fiyavathi is part of the ‘Kudakudhinge Hiyaa’ initiative and is a government-run facility that cares for children under 13 years old in Hulhumalé.
