Seaside Finolhu Baa Atoll Appoints New Director of Sales for Europe

Seaside Finolhu Baa Atoll, a renowned luxury resort in the Maldives, has welcomed Erdal Altinok as its new Director of Sales for Europe. Altinok’s extensive experience in tourism and luxury hospitality positions him to play a pivotal role in enhancing the resort’s presence in the European market.

With over two decades of industry expertise, Altinok’s career began in 2001 with Ltur Tourismus, part of the TUI Group, where he excelled in product management and contracting. Over the years, he specialized in long-haul destinations, working with major German tour operators for 15 years before transitioning to sales and marketing in hospitality in 2015. His previous roles in the Maldives include Director of Sales at LUX South Ari Atoll and Director of Business Development at Mirihi Island Resort.

Seaside Finolhu, nestled within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll, is celebrated for its playful luxury and stunning natural surroundings. The resort features 125 private villas, four unique dining venues, and a wide array of activities designed to connect guests with the island’s vibrant marine ecosystem.

Guests can explore the extensive coral system surrounding the house reef, dive into the turquoise waters to witness vibrant marine life, or enjoy thrilling water sports and diving excursions. These offerings, combined with Altinok’s strategic expertise, are expected to bolster the resort’s appeal among European travelers.

Seaside Finolhu’s management expressed confidence in Altinok’s ability to further elevate the resort’s profile, emphasizing his strong background in building partnerships and driving growth in key markets. His appointment underscores the resort’s commitment to delivering exceptional experiences while strengthening its global presence.
