By Ahmed Ashraf Published 17 hours ago

Dhiraagu has officially commenced the distribution of race kits for the Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR) 2025, marking the start of preparations for the country’s most anticipated annual running event.

The race kit distribution, or Bib Expo, is taking place at the DMRR Bib Expo Centre, located on the ground floor of Dhiraagu’s head office on Ameenee Magu, Male’. Participants can collect their kits from October 19 to 22, during designated time slots throughout the day and evening.

Each race kit includes a bib with an integrated timing chip, a race t-shirt, a string bag, and four safety pins. Participants are required to present their national ID card and bib number for verification at collection.

Now in its 16th consecutive year, DMRR continues to stand as the largest running event in the Maldives, bringing together professional athletes, amateur runners, and community members in a celebration of fitness and unity. This year’s race is set to take place on Friday at Central Park, Hulhumalé, with over 4,500 participants expected to take part.

Organized annually by Dhiraagu, the event underscores the telecom giant’s continued commitment to promoting health, wellness, and social responsibility in the Maldives. The company’s long-running initiative has become a major platform for community engagement and charitable causes, drawing thousands of participants from across the country each year.
