President Dr Mohamed Muizzu has begun a focused two day visit to the inhabited islands of Lhaviyani Atoll and several islands of Malé Atoll. This trip reinforces his Administration’s pledge to build national progress through strong, direct engagement with citizens.
Throughout the tour, the President will meet Island Councils and Women’s Development Committees to drive forward development priorities. He will also interact with residents to gather their views on improving essential services, economic opportunity and overall quality of life.
In Lhaviyani Atoll, the President is scheduled to visit Naifaru, Hinnavaru, Kurendhoo and Olhuvelifushi. His Malé Atoll program includes key population centres Kaashidhoo, Dhiffushi and Thulusdhoo. Each visit focuses on resolving long standing concerns and accelerating investments that empower communities.
This journey forms part of a nationwide initiative to meet every atoll, island and city council. The Administration aims to ensure development reaches every corner of the country and that decisions are informed by the people who live the realities on the ground.
The President is accompanied by Cabinet Ministers and senior Government officials, demonstrating a full of Government approach to advancing prosperity across the Maldives.
