President Dr Mohamed Muizzu announced tonight that more than thirteen thousand citizens participated in the major gathering held at Artificial Beach to mark the government’s two year milestone. The rally, attended by senior PNC leaders and top government officials, was described by the President as the largest public gathering in the history of the Maldivian presidency.

Speaking to the crowd, the President expressed heartfelt gratitude to citizens who travelled from islands across the country to join the event. He said the turnout demonstrated strong national unity and public confidence in the administration’s direction as it advances key development and governance priorities.
President Muizzu reaffirmed that he remains fully committed to fulfilling every pledge he made under his oath of office. He said his policies and decisions are guided by three core principles that shape the government’s work: ensuring peace, guaranteeing security, and accelerating development for all Maldivians.

He emphasised that the most important pillar of his administration is the protection and promotion of Islam. The President said it is his duty to strengthen the Maldives as a proud Islamic nation and highlighted that the government has actively advanced initiatives including mosque construction, the establishment of Quran centers, the creation of Islamic endowments, and support for Hajj opportunities for low income families.
As the rally continued, supporters filled the entire Artificial Beach area, marking a significant moment in the administration’s two year journey and setting the stage for the next phase of national development.
