Recovered Addict Turned NDA Mentor Faseeh Arrested for Giving Narcotics to Clients Before Exploiting Them

By Ahmed Ashraf Published 6 hours ago

Police have arrested Mohamed Faseeh, 51, a Peer Mentor at the National Drug Agency, after investigators received reports that he provided narcotics to vulnerable clients before engaging in illicit relations with them. Faseeh, long known in Malé City as an infamous drug addict who was believed to have recovered in recent years, was taken into custody on 20 November 2025 under a court order.

The National Drug Agency reported the allegations to police on 4 November 2025. According to initial findings, the misconduct involved individuals who were undergoing rehabilitation and relied on agency mentors for support.

Faseeh, of Florida, S. Feydhoo, is also the husband of Soodha Abdulla, a Senior Political Director at the Ministry of Homeland Security and Technology. Officials have not indicated any link between his spouse’s position and the allegations.
