BML and Visa Team Up to Offer Fans an All-Access Trip to the World Cup 26 Final

By Ahmed Ashraf Published 10 hours ago

Bank of Maldives has launched a major new promotion giving local football fans the opportunity to experience the Final Match of the FIFA World Cup 26 live, with the experience fully supported by Visa.

The campaign, exclusively open to BML Visa cardholders, runs from 18 January to 15 April 2026 and is designed to reward everyday spending with a world-class sporting experience.

To participate, eligible customers must first register through the opt-in feature on the BML Mobile Banking App. Cardholders who spend a minimum of MVR 15,000 per month using BML Visa credit or debit cards via BML Point-of-Sale terminals, Static QR payments, or the BML Payment Gateway will earn an entry into the draw.

Participants can boost their chances by spending additional multiples of MVR 15,000 beyond the monthly threshold, with every qualifying increment earning an extra entry. This structure allows frequent card users to accumulate multiple entries over the promotion period.

At the conclusion of the campaign, one winner will be selected to receive two fully paid tickets to attend the FIFA World Cup 26™ Final, including travel for the winner and a companion, courtesy of Visa.

BML currently offers a broad portfolio of Visa-branded cards, including Visa Classic, Gold, Platinum, and the recently introduced Visa Infinite credit card. The bank also issues Visa Debit Classic and Visa Debit Platinum cards, reinforcing its position as the leading card issuer in the Maldives.

The promotion reflects BML’s broader strategy to enhance card usage while delivering aspirational rewards that resonate with customers’ lifestyles and passions.

Further details on the promotion are available at the official Bank of Maldives website.
