The “Saabas Yanmar Promo 2026” was officially launched today by Maldives Transport and Contracting Company during a special ceremony held on the sidelines of the Maldives Marine Expo 2026.
The promotion was inaugurated by MTCC Deputy Managing Director Mohamed Jamsheed in the presence of senior company officials, marking another step in the corporation’s efforts to support the local marine sector through cost-effective and reliable solutions.
Running from 15 February to 31 March 2026, the promotion offers customers an eight percent discount on all Yanmar engines purchased during the campaign period. Customers wishing to secure an engine under the offer are required to pay a 10 percent booking fee on or before 31 March 2026.
MTCC is participating in the Maldives Marine Expo 2026 as a co-sponsor, using the platform to showcase new marine products and services at its dedicated stall. The company will also take part in panel discussions alongside senior representatives from its key partners, including Yanmar and Castrol, sharing technical expertise and industry insights with stakeholders and visitors.
As part of its engagement activities during the expo, MTCC has launched a lucky draw through the MTCC Kashavaru Facebook page, which opened on 5 February 2026. Winners of the draw will be announced on 8 February 2026 at the expo venue, with selected participants set to receive a cash prize of MVR 10,000.
MTCC said the promotion reflects its ongoing commitment to making high-quality marine engines more accessible to customers across the Maldives. The company regularly conducts nationwide awareness programmes and annual promotions, aimed at improving technical knowledge and promoting proper engine maintenance among boat owners and marine operators.
