Maldives Airports Company Limited (MACL) is set to deliver a vibrant, family-focused celebration in Hulhumalé as part of the national “Eid Haveeru 1447” festivities, aligning with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s vision of strengthening community bonds and social harmony.
The state-owned aviation company will host a three-day activation at Central Park, Hulhumalé, beginning on 20 March 2026. MACL’s dedicated stall will be located at the eastern entrance of the park, serving as a central attraction within the broader Eid programme.
Running daily from 16:00 to 18:00 from the day of Eid al-Fitr, the initiative will feature a lively Zootopia-themed play area designed to offer an immersive experience for children and families. The setup will include live character mascots, adding energy and entertainment while creating memorable moments for visitors throughout the festive period.
A standout feature of MACL’s activation is a custom-built treehouse installation positioned at the heart of the play zone. Surrounding this centerpiece, visitors can engage in a range of interactive games and activities tailored for all age groups. These include axe-throwing challenges, wrecking ball games, and “shoot your shot” stations, among others.
The initiative underscores MACL’s broader commitment to community engagement, extending its role beyond aviation services. By participating in national celebrations such as Eid Haveeru, the company aims to foster unity, generosity, and shared experiences during one of the most significant occasions in the Islamic calendar.
Through this festive activation, MACL continues to position itself as not only a key player in the country’s aviation sector but also an active contributor to social and cultural life across the Maldives.
