BML upgrades Aaya to streamline banking requests and customer support

By Ahmed Ashraf Published 3 hours ago

Bank of Maldives (BML) has begun rolling out new updates to Aaya across its Mobile Banking App and Internet Banking platform, introducing a more efficient way for customers to submit banking requests.

As part of the update, customers will no longer be able to send banking requests through the messaging feature previously available within the Mobile Banking App and Internet Banking.

BML said the enhanced Aaya service is designed to provide faster and more efficient assistance by resolving customer queries and processing banking requests more effectively. The upgraded system aims to reduce response times and deliver a smoother digital banking experience.

Customers who require personalised assistance can also choose to connect directly with a BML staff member through Aaya, ensuring support is available whenever needed.

The rollout forms part of the bank’s broader strategy to strengthen its digital banking services and enhance convenience for customers through improved self-service and assisted digital support.
