MWSC invites customers to update records and enter iPad giveaway

By Hussain Shinan Published 3 hours ago

Malé Water and Sewerage Company (MWSC) has conducted a community engagement event in Hithadhoo, Addu City, as part of its ongoing Edalee Campaign, encouraging customers to update their personal information and take part in a promotional giveaway.

The event brought together MWSC representatives, customers and families from the Hithadhoo community, providing residents with an opportunity to interact directly with the utility provider and receive assistance with updating their customer records.

MWSC said the gathering was an opportunity to strengthen its relationship with customers while helping residents ensure their information remained accurate and up to date.

The initiative forms part of the company’s wider efforts to improve customer engagement and maintain accurate records of households and individuals using its services.

Customers who complete the information update process by 4 December 2026 will have an opportunity to win an iPad through a promotional draw organised as part of the campaign.

The company has encouraged customers who have not yet updated their details to do so before the deadline to qualify for the giveaway.

Maintaining accurate customer information is an important aspect of utility service management, helping providers communicate service announcements, manage customer accounts and respond more effectively to enquiries.

For customers, keeping contact details current can also help ensure that important notifications concerning their water and sewerage services reach them without unnecessary delays.

MWSC is a state-owned utility company responsible for providing water and sewerage services in Malé and several other parts of the Maldives, including communities in Addu City.

The company has undertaken various customer service and community outreach initiatives aimed at improving communication with residents and encouraging greater public participation in its services.

Through the Edalee Campaign, MWSC is combining customer record updates with community engagement activities, offering residents an opportunity to interact with company representatives outside conventional customer service settings.

The company has reminded customers that the deadline to update their information and enter the iPad giveaway is 4 December 2026.
