Ooredoo Maldives has partnered with the Ministry of Health, Family and Social Services and FDC to organise a family movie night at Hulhumalé Central Park tonight, as part of the Health & Family Expo 2026.
The outdoor screening is scheduled to begin at 8:00 pm on Saturday, 7 November, with the animated adventure film Swapped selected as the evening’s main attraction.
Ooredoo, which is serving as the Digital Partner of the Health & Family Expo 2026, announced the event as part of its involvement in activities designed to bring families and communities together.
The screening is being organised in collaboration with FDC, offering residents an opportunity to enjoy an evening of entertainment at one of Hulhumalé’s popular public spaces.
Released in 2026, Swapped follows the adventures of two unlikely companions, Ollie, a small otter-like creature, and Ivy, a large bird, who begin the story as fierce rivals in a magical valley.

Their lives take an unexpected turn when a magical tree causes them to exchange bodies, forcing the pair to experience the world from each other’s perspectives.
Despite their differences, the two must eventually work together to protect their home from a dangerous creature known as the Firewolf, which threatens to destroy their valley.
The animated film explores themes of friendship, cooperation and understanding, making it a suitable choice for an event centred on family entertainment.
The movie night forms part of the wider Health & Family Expo 2026, an initiative bringing together organisations and community partners to promote family wellbeing and public engagement.
President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu inaugurated the expo at Hulhumalé Central Park on 5 November, bringing together healthcare providers and members of the community for a range of family-focused activities.
Through its participation as Digital Partner, Ooredoo is supporting the expo’s activities while contributing to opportunities for families to spend time together.
The telecommunications company has regularly participated in community-focused initiatives across the Maldives, including events involving families, young people and recreational activities.
Ooredoo has invited members of the public to attend the screening with their friends and families, encouraging residents to take part in the evening’s activities.
The movie night will begin at 8:00 pm tonight at Hulhumalé Central Park.
