Ooredoo Maldives has extended the registration period for the Ooredoo Fun Run 2026, giving more people the chance to take part in one of the country’s most colourful community events.

Registrations will now remain open until 14 November.

This year’s Fun Run will take place in Hulhumalé on 11 December.

The annual event has become a favourite for families and friends. Last year’s edition in Hulhumalé drew more than 7,500 participants.

The 5-kilometre run is open to anyone aged six and above. Participants will encounter fun obstacles and a range of entertaining activities along the route.

Since the Fun Run is not a timed race, participants are free to walk, jog or even dance their way to the finish line.

Participants can choose between two kits. The Fun Kit, priced at MVR 210, includes a Fun Run T-shirt, a multipurpose bandana, a bag and eyeglasses. The Standard Kit, priced at MVR 110, includes a Fun Run T-shirt, a multipurpose bandana and a race bib.

To build excitement ahead of the run, Ooredoo has lined up a series of pre-event activities. A children’s afternoon will be held on 10 December from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, followed by a music show from 8:00 pm to midnight.

Ooredoo has regularly organised community-focused events across the Maldives, bringing together families, young people and residents for shared experiences.

Registration for the Ooredoo Fun Run 2026 remains open until 14 November, with the run set to take place in Hulhumalé on 11 December.
