Maldives Islamic Bank (MIB) has officially inaugurated a new service centre in Haa Alifu Dhidhdhoo, marking another milestone in the bank’s expansion efforts.
The new centre, the second in the atoll following the Kulhudhuffushi branch, was opened during a special ceremony attended by MIB’s CEO and Managing Director, Mufaddal Idris Khumri, along with Dhidhdhoo Council President Abdulla Rasheed and Vice President Abdulla Waheed.
MIB announced that the Dhidhdhoo Centre will offer the bank’s full range of services, including 24-hour deposit and withdrawal facilities via automated teller machines (ATMs). The centre aims to provide comprehensive and convenient banking solutions to customers in the northern region of the Maldives.
This expansion aligns with MIB’s broader strategy to establish a stronger presence across all atolls. Currently, the bank operates in Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu, Baa, Alifu Dhaalu, Kaafu, Dhaalu, Laamu, Gaafu Alifu, Gaafu Dhaalu, Fuvahmulah City, and Addu City.
By increasing its footprint, MIB is working to ensure accessible banking services for residents and businesses, reinforcing its commitment to fostering economic growth across the Maldives.
