ODI SC Clinches 3-1 Victory Over Victory Sports Club in Thrilling Match

In a captivating encounter at Galolhu National Stadium, ODI Sports Club secured a 3-1 win against Victory Sports Club on February 14, 2025. The match, part of the U19 Youth Championship 2025, showcased high-intensity football from both sides.

Victory Sports Club started strong, applying early pressure with swift counter-attacks and a solid defense. ODI SC, however, maintained composure, demonstrating tactical discipline and controlling the game’s tempo through their midfield.

The breakthrough came in the 39th minute when ODI’s playmaker delivered a precise through-ball to forward Ruvaau, who calmly finished past the goalkeeper, putting ODI ahead 1-0. Just before halftime, midfielder Naaish doubled the lead with a stunning shot into the top corner, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

Early in the second half, Victory Sports Club’s captain orchestrated a brilliant move, resulting in a goal in the 51st minute, narrowing the deficit to 2-1. Despite Victory’s relentless attacks, ODI’s defense remained resolute. In the 76th minute, ODI sealed the victory with a third goal, securing a 3-1 final score.

This significant win highlights ODI Sports Club’s team spirit and tactical maturity, promising a strong performance in upcoming fixtures. Victory Sports Club, despite the loss, showcased determination and skill, indicating a promising future in the tournament.
