In a ceremony reflecting the deepening ties between the Maldives and Saudi Arabia, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu awarded the prestigious Order of the Dignified Rule of the Muleege Dynasty (O.D.R.M.D) to His Excellency Sultan bin Abdulrahman Al-Marshad, Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), at the President’s Office this morning.
This distinguished honor, commemorating the legacy of Al-Sultan Muhammed Shamsuddin, was conferred upon Al-Marshad in recognition of his instrumental role in advancing the Maldives’ development through the SFD’s generous support. Under his leadership, the SFD has significantly contributed to the nation’s progress, notably through substantial investments in infrastructure and public services.
