Bank of Maldives has extended its support to vulnerable students by donating MVR 100,000 to MOMS Aid for its annual “Back to School” campaign.
The contribution will be used to provide essential school supplies to children from financially vulnerable families ahead of the new academic year. According to the NGO, the donation will directly benefit students registered under its care list, ensuring they are adequately prepared to return to classrooms.
Bank of Maldives said the support reflects its continued commitment to community development and access to education, particularly for children facing economic hardship.
The bank has maintained a long-standing partnership with MOMS Aid, supporting several of its social initiatives over the years. In 2025, BML Islamic contributed to the same Back to School campaign, helping to equip 100 students with necessary learning materials.
This year’s contribution further reinforces Bank of Maldives’ role in supporting grassroots organisations working to uplift vulnerable communities and promote equal educational opportunities across the country.
MOMS Aid continues to play a vital role in assisting families in need, with education remaining a core focus of its social support programmes.
