Dhiraagu and Medianet Team Up to Bring TV Streaming to Mobile Users

By Ahmed Ashraf Published 11 hours ago

Dhiraagu has unveiled a new mobile entertainment offering through a strategic partnership with Medianet, bringing television and on-demand streaming directly to customers’ mobile devices across the Maldives.

The collaboration introduces a range of Medianet mobile streaming bundles that combine Dhiraagu’s telecommunications services with premium entertainment content. Customers will gain access to popular TV channels, on-demand programming, and exclusive sports coverage through flexible subscription plans designed to suit different viewing habits.

According to Dhiraagu, the newly launched bundles are available for subscription periods ranging from one month to one year, with prices starting at MVR 50 per month. The packages aim to offer affordability and convenience, positioning mobile streaming as an accessible option for a wider customer base.

Alongside the Medianet bundles, Dhiraagu is also offering its exclusive Video Club Mobile service, which features a broad selection of local content for a monthly fee of MVR 50. The service is targeted at customers seeking Maldivian programming alongside international entertainment.

Subscriptions can be activated directly through the Dhiraagu App. Customers can navigate to the MtV Mobile with Dhiraagu section, review available bundle options and pricing, and subscribe instantly. Charges are deducted from the user’s mobile balance or added to the monthly bill, allowing seamless access without additional payment steps.

Dhiraagu said the initiative reflects its broader strategy to enhance customers’ digital lifestyles by integrating connectivity and entertainment into a single ecosystem. The company noted that the Medianet partnership further strengthens its position as the Maldives’ leading digital service provider, as it continues to expand value-added services in response to evolving consumer demand.
