Dhiraagu Celebrates Eid with Community Breakfasts and Gifts Nationwide

By Hussain Shinan Published 12 hours ago

Dhiraagu marked this year’s Eid al-Fitr celebrations with a series of community-focused activities, bringing people together through its annual ‘Eid Sai’ breakfast gatherings and ‘Eid Hadhiyaa’ gift distribution.

The company hosted its open Eid Sai community breakfasts at two key locations in the Greater Malé area — near the King Salman Mosque in Malé and the Synthetic Track in Hulhumalé. Both venues saw large turnouts, with families and residents gathering in the early hours to share breakfast and celebrate the festive occasion.

In parallel, Dhiraagu also carried out its Eid Hadhiyaa initiative, distributing gift packs to children at multiple locations. The activity was conducted not only in Malé and Hulhumalé, but also extended to several atolls, including Kulhudhuffushi City, Addu City, Fuvahmulah City, Thinadhoo City, L. Gan, B. Eydhafushi, and A. Dh. Dhangethi.

Staff members from Dhiraagu took part in the distribution, engaging directly with communities and adding to the festive atmosphere across the country.

The initiatives are part of Dhiraagu’s ongoing efforts to strengthen community ties and create shared experiences during major national and religious celebrations. Through such activities, the company aims to contribute to the spirit of Eid by encouraging togetherness and spreading joy, particularly among children and families.

Dhiraagu said it remains committed to connecting communities beyond telecommunications services, through initiatives that bring people together and enhance social engagement across the Maldives.
