The stage is set for the return of the Maldives’ largest competitive gaming event as Dhiraagu Gamers Guild (DGG) announces the Dhiraagu Maldives Gaming Conquest (DMGC) 2025, scheduled to take place from 31 July to 2 August at Ghiyasuddin International School in Malé.
This year’s edition promises to be the biggest yet, drawing over 1,500 players from across the country. With a total prize pool of MVR 170,000, the tournament will feature a four-game format designed to highlight the depth and diversity of Maldivian gaming talent.
Registrations are now open for two headline titles—FC25 and Rocket League—with players required to sign up by 27 July 2025. Additional titles in the lineup are expected to be revealed in the coming days, adding to the excitement among the local gaming community.
Beyond the competitive matches, DMGC 2025 aims to deliver a fully immersive experience with a host of interactive zones and side attractions. Attendees can enjoy a Racing Simulation Zone, Virtual Reality (VR) experiences, Free-to-Play Stations, and Board Games, ensuring that casual gamers and spectators alike have ample opportunities to engage and explore.
Now in its latest iteration, DMGC stands as a testament to Dhiraagu’s growing investment in the esports ecosystem and its mission to foster an inclusive digital entertainment culture across the Maldives. The Dhiraagu Gamers Guild, launched as a dedicated platform for Maldivian gamers, has become the nation’s largest gaming community, spearheading competitive and community-focused initiatives throughout the year.
