By Ahmed Ashraf Published August 4, 2025

Dhiraagu has once again solidified its position as the Maldives’ digital pioneer by successfully hosting the country’s largest-ever gaming tournament — the Dhiraagu Maldives Gaming Conquest (DMGC) 2025. The landmark event attracted over 1,500 registered gamers from across the archipelago, including players representing remote islands and atolls, highlighting the growing reach and popularity of esports in the nation.

Held in Malé, DMGC 2025 showcased an unprecedented technical achievement for the Maldives — four major gaming titles played live on-site, connected through Dhiraagu’s powerful 5G and high-speed network infrastructure. With more than 150 players competing simultaneously on fully online servers, the event demonstrated Dhiraagu’s robust digital capabilities and commitment to innovation.
