In a recent operation led by the Police Drug Enforcement unit, a Hiyaa flat was searched, resulting in the arrest of four individuals along with the seizure of drugs and a significant sum of money. This action was initiated based on intelligence received by the authorities.
The operation took place on December 23rd, leading to the apprehension of Ibrahim Shareef, aged 40, from G. Semiton; Abdullah Hassan, aged 41, from GDh. Kolamaafushi / Ocean Blue; Hussain Riyadh, aged 33, from HDh. Neykurendhoo / Irudheymaage; and Abdullah Jameel, aged 32, from GA. Dhaandhoo / Valuthereyge. These arrests were executed under a Criminal Court order during the search of apartment H9-20-11 in the Hiyaa complex.
During the search, law enforcement officials uncovered drugs, drug packaging materials, a large amount of money, and several mobile phones. The police are actively continuing their investigation into this case to uncover further details.
