From the Heart: President Muizzu Thanks Organizers for Eid’s Vibrant Success

In a vibrant display of unity and festivity, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu extended heartfelt gratitude to all contributors who orchestrated the colorful Eid-ul-Fitr 1446 celebrations, emphasizing the significance of this cherished occasion for Maldivian families and children. Sharing his appreciation on his official X account, the President lauded the collective efforts that made the festivities memorable.

The capital city, Malé, along with the entire nation, was adorned with jubilant events, including the “Eid Haveeru 1446” celebrations. Organized collaboratively by the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF), Maldives Police Service (MPS), and state-owned enterprises, the event transformed areas from Sultan Park to Republic Square into hubs of family-friendly activities, cultural performances, and traditional games, fostering a spirit of togetherness.

Demonstrating a hands-on approach, President Muizzu and First Lady Sajidha Mohamed actively participated in the festivities. Their presence at various events, including visits to stalls at “Eid Haveeru 1446,” underscored the administration’s commitment to engaging with citizens during significant cultural celebrations.

The administration continues to prioritize the enhancement of religious and cultural festivities, ensuring that each year’s Eid celebrations surpass the previous in vibrancy and inclusivity. This dedication reflects the government’s unwavering commitment to preserving and enriching the nation’s rich heritage, fostering a sense of unity and joy among all Maldivians.
