Hawks Hotels Maldives has rolled out a new Wellness Partner Program aimed at retreat leaders and wellness practitioners seeking to design and host curated group experiences in the Maldives, as demand grows for retreats that prioritise intention, depth, and authentic human connection.
Positioned as an alternative to typical affiliate or commission-led arrangements, the programme operates on a net partner rate model, offering preferred accommodation pricing that allows retreat organisers to independently set package rates and build their own margin. Hawks Hotels says the structure is designed to give partners commercial control, transparent pricing, and the flexibility to develop programmes aligned with their own philosophy and business model.
The initiative comes as the global wellness economy continues to expand, with the Global Wellness Institute reporting the sector reached a new peak of USD 6.8 trillion in 2024.
Hawks Hotels is based on Kamadhoo Island in Baa Atoll, part of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve recognised for its protected marine environment, as well as the close link between local livelihoods, tourism, and fisheries across the atoll. Hawks Hotels is positioning Kamadhoo as a lower-density, community-rooted setting compared with high-intensity resort environments, targeting retreat groups looking for quiet spaces that support workshops, reflection, and disconnection from “external noise”.
Under the programme, wellness partners are offered special net accommodation rates for groups, the freedom to build their own retreat packages, complimentary accommodation for retreat leaders subject to qualifying group sizes, flexible meal plans aligned with wellness concepts, access to calm spaces for group activities, and on-ground operational support during the retreat. Hawks Hotels said each retreat will be treated as a collaborative build rather than a standardised product.
The company said the programme is designed for retreat leaders, mindfulness and movement facilitators, fitness and holistic health practitioners, and boutique retreat curators, whether they are launching a first programme or expanding an established calendar.
