The company delivered 447 targeted training programs over the past three months as part of a broad Learning and Development strategy designed to strengthen aviation sector expertise.

Alongside employee development, MACL extended its learning outreach to the next generation. Four guided tours were organized during the same period for school students, offering insights into airport operations, career pathways, and critical departments that keep the country’s main gateway running safely and efficiently. A total of 273 students took part in these educational visits.

With this continuous investment in human capital, MACL aims to ensure that its workforce remains competent, adaptable, and ready to meet future industry demands. The company stated that building local expertise is essential to enhance national aviation resilience and maintain operational excellence as the Maldives prepares for its strongest peak travel seasons and major airport infrastructure upgrades.
