Ooredoo Maldives Rewards Thirteenth Customer with Umrah Under #LiveUnlimited Anniversary Campaign

By Ahmed Ashraf Published January 5, 2026

Ooredoo Maldives has announced Aishath Mohamed Didi from S. Hithadhoo as the thirteenth winner of its nationwide #LiveUnlimited Anniversary Campaign, awarding her a fully sponsored Umrah pilgrimage.

The campaign was launched to commemorate Ooredoo Maldives’ 20th anniversary, with the telecom operator pledging to reward customer loyalty through experiences that extend beyond connectivity. Under the initiative, 19 customers will receive Umrah trips at 20-day intervals, while the 20th and final winner will be awarded a Hajj pilgrimage for two, positioning the campaign as one of the most spiritually significant customer reward programmes in the country.

Ooredoo Maldives CEO and Managing Director Khalid Al-Hamadi said the initiative reflects the company’s broader purpose of enriching lives, not merely delivering digital services.

“With #LiveUnlimited, we wanted to thank our customers in a meaningful way by offering experiences that carry deep personal and spiritual value. We congratulate Aishath Mohamed Didi and look forward to celebrating many more journeys of faith and fulfilment,” he said.

How customers qualify

Customers become eligible for the draw by fulfilling simple usage criteria within any 30-day period. These include spending more than MVR 250 on bill payments or add-ons, while new customers qualify with a minimum spend of MVR 400. Participants must also use Ooredoo services on at least 25 of the previous 30 days.

The campaign is open to Postpaid, Prepaid, and SuperNet customers, ensuring broad participation across Ooredoo’s subscriber base.

Ooredoo Maldives stated that the #LiveUnlimited campaign aligns with its long-term vision of delivering value that resonates on a personal level, reinforcing emotional connections with customers while celebrating two decades of operations in the Maldives.

Further details on the campaign are available via Ooredoo Maldives’ official digital platforms.
