Petition Filed as Ajial International School Faces Backlash Over Arrogant Management

By Ahmed Ashraf Published 12 hours ago

Parents of Grade 2 students at Ajial International School have submitted a formal petition directly to the school’s management, accusing the administration of persistent mismanagement, arrogance, and a failure to meaningfully engage with parental concerns.

According to the petition, the 2025 academic year ended abruptly after 18 December, when teachers and the school principal reportedly left without prior notice. Parents state that students were left without a homeroom teacher or adequate school oversight during the final week of the term, while parents were not informed of the situation.

The petition also highlights multiple errors in student report cards, raising concerns over the credibility of assessments and the reliability of the school’s internal academic processes. Parents argue that these mistakes reflect weak administrative controls and poor management oversight.

Concerns have carried into the new academic year, with parents stating that the school reopened while the principal remains on vacation and is expected to return only after approximately ten days. Additionally, the staff member overseeing the school reportedly went on leave on the second day of the term, leaving students under the supervision of teachers and junior administrative staff, with no senior management present on campus.

Parents further accused the school’s management of avoiding accountability and silencing communication. Messages posted by parents on Microsoft Teams were reportedly removed without response, reinforcing what parents describe as a consistent pattern of ignoring legitimate concerns.

In their petition, parents questioned the competence and leadership capacity of Ajial International School’s management, warning that continued disregard for parental engagement undermines trust and risks affecting student welfare and academic standards.

Parents are now demanding immediate corrective action from the school’s management, including transparent communication, consistent leadership presence, and stronger accountability mechanisms to address the issues raised.
