Dhigurah, renowned for its pristine beaches and vibrant marine life, is a popular destination among tourists seeking both luxury and budget-friendly experiences. The island offers a range of accommodations, from upscale resorts to affordable guesthouses, making it accessible to a diverse array of travelers.

The incident underscores the critical importance of stringent safety protocols in the Maldives’ maritime transport sector, especially given the country’s heavy reliance on sea travel for both locals and tourists. Ensuring the safety of all passengers remains a top priority as authorities continue to investigate the cause of the ‘Huvan’ launch’s distress.
