By Ahmed Ashraf Published 7 hours ago

Shareefa Mohamed of M. Dhileyraamge, Malé, the mother of Minister at the President’s Office Abdulla Nasir, widely known as Harins Allo’be, and Maldives Fund Management Corporation Managing Director Ahmed Nazim, commonly referred to as Harins Anmaday, has passed away at the age of 83.

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and his family conveyed condolences to the bereaved family, praying for Allah to forgive her sins and grant her eternal peace in Jannatul Firdaus. Officials described Shareefa Mohamed as the mother of two prominent figures who continue to serve the Maldivian nation in key leadership positions.

Born in 1942, Shareefa lived through decades of national change, raising children who would go on to contribute to state institutions across successive administrations.
