FIFA President Gianni Infantin is set to arrive in the Maldives on 24 October 2025 for a landmark official visit aimed at deepening cooperation between FIFA and the Maldives in advancing football development across the country.
During his visit, President Infantino will hold bilateral talks with President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu to explore strategic avenues for enhancing football infrastructure, grassroots engagement, and youth training initiatives in the Maldives.
A highlight of the visit will be a special exhibition football match at the National Stadium in Malé, scheduled from 16:00 to 18:00 on the same day.
