TaZa Marks 23 Years as Maldives’ Leading Bottled Water Brand Strengthens Its Legacy

By Ahmed Ashraf Published 13 hours ago

TaZa, the flagship bottled water of Island Beverages Maldives Pvt Ltd, marked its twenty third anniversary on 9 December, highlighting more than two decades of growth and resilience in the Maldivian bottled water industry. Since its introduction in 2002, TaZa has become a widely recognised product trusted across households, hotels, cafés and retail outlets.

Over the past twenty three years, IBM has achieved a series of important milestones that shaped the company’s trajectory. The most notable achievement has been its rise to the top of the local bottled water market. This leadership position continues today, anchored by TaZa’s consistent quality, its strong distribution network and its familiarity among consumers across the islands.

Company officials state that the anniversary represents both a celebration of the brand and a recognition of the customers, retailers and distributors who have supported TaZa’s journey. By maintaining local bottling and distribution operations for more than two decades, IBM has contributed to the overall development of the fast moving consumer goods sector.

The anniversary campaign focuses on reinforcing the brand’s heritage and its continued strength in the market. Messaging highlights the twenty three year journey of TaZa and the company’s commitment to maintaining high quality standards as competition in the bottled water category grows.

Looking ahead, Island Beverages Maldives aims to build on TaZa’s established reputation and expand its market presence further. With consumer demand for reliable bottled water continuing to rise, the company plans to strengthen operations and introduce new initiatives that support long term growth.

As TaZa enters its next chapter, IBM positions the brand to remain one of the most trusted and widely consumed bottled water choices for Maldivians in the years to come.
