Visit Maldives Names Nasru as Chief Commercial Officer, Strengthening Tourism Leadership

By Ahmed Ashraf Published 9 hours ago

Visit Maldives has appointed seasoned tourism professional Nasrulla Adam (Nasru) as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), marking a significant step in advancing the nation’s global tourism strategy.

With more than 20 years in luxury hospitality, Nasru is widely recognized as one of the most experienced Maldivian executives in the field. He began his career at Sun Island Resort & Spa and went on to hold leadership positions at Anantara Kihavah, Huvafen Fushi, Niyama, and Per Aquum Hotels. His track record includes serving as Director of Sales at Amilla Fushi, becoming the first Maldivian Director of Sales at Baros Maldives, and contributing to the high-profile openings of Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi and Patina Maldives.

Most recently, Nasru served as Director of Business Development – Indian Ocean at JA Resorts & Hotels, where he oversaw operations for JA Manafaru in the Maldives and JA Enchanted Island in Seychelles, further broadening his international footprint.
