State Trading Organization (STO) has launched a wide-reaching Mega Promotion campaign offering customers a range of exciting prizes, digital engagement opportunities, and product discounts of up to 35%. The promotion, which runs from August 20 to October 20, 2025, is designed to enhance customer interaction across platforms while delivering substantial savings and rewards.
Dual Campaign Strategy with Lucky Draws
As part of the initiative, STO is rolling out two separate campaigns under the Mega Promotion umbrella. In the first, customers making purchases worth MVR 500 or more at STO People’s Choice outlets will receive a coupon to enter a lucky draw.
The draw will award three major winners with high-value electronics and home appliances:
- First Prize: 50-inch Philips TV, Hitachi microwave, and Hitachi refrigerator
- Second Prize: Hitachi water dispenser, washing machine, and Hitachi fan
- Third Prize: Hitachi dishwasher and rice cooker
Social Media Engagement and Weekly Winners
The second leg of the campaign taps into STO’s growing online community. Customers are encouraged to follow the STO People’s Choice social media pages and participate in product identification challenges posted during the promotion period. Each week, one lucky participant will be selected to win a gift hamper.
Additionally, STO is offering a separate opportunity to win a Philips Air Fryer. To qualify, customers must:
- Purchase any item from the Mega Sale,
- Post a photo of the product on social media using the hashtags #stopeopleschoice or #MegaSalePC.
Up to 35% Off on Popular Products
Throughout the promotion period, STO People’s Choice is offering discounts of up to 35% across a wide range of items. The campaign aims to drive both in-store and digital engagement while reinforcing customer loyalty through tangible rewards and brand interaction.
STO’s Mega Promotion comes at a time when consumer spending is being incentivized nationwide. With attractive giveaways and social media integration, the campaign is expected to draw strong participation from across the Maldives.
