Dhiraagu has announced the opening of applications for coaching partners for the 16th edition of the Dhiraagu Maldives Road Race (DMRR), the country’s largest annual run. The event, scheduled for 24 October 2025 at Central Park, Hulhumalé, is the Maldives’ only international run featured on the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) World Running calendar and certified by World Athletics.
Since 2018, Dhiraagu has collaborated with official coaching partners to expand access to professional training and encourage a culture of fitness across local communities. Through this initiative, aspiring runners gain structured guidance, helping them prepare effectively for the highly anticipated race.
Interested individuals or organizations can apply by emailing [email protected] before 26 August 2025. Selected partners will play a key role in building momentum for the race while fostering community engagement and the spirit of unity that defines DMRR.
Over the years, the road race has grown into a signature sporting occasion in the Maldives, drawing widespread participation from both local and international runners. Beyond competition, the event has become a platform for promoting healthy living, social connection, and national pride.
