Ooredoo Maldives has announced a planned network upgrade that may cause temporary service interruptions for customers residing in Hiya Flats 9, 10, 11 and 12 in Hulhumalé Phase 2.
The maintenance work is scheduled for 21 August between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM, during which customers could experience short disruptions to both internet connectivity and voice call services.
The company issued a statement via social media, noting that the upgrade is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance network quality and reliability. Ooredoo also extended apologies for any inconvenience caused, while expressing appreciation for customers’ patience and understanding during the scheduled works.
Planned service upgrades of this nature are standard industry practice, aimed at improving network speed, stability, and user experience. In recent years, Ooredoo has expanded its infrastructure across the Maldives to meet the growing demand for high-speed internet and advanced communication services.
