State Electric Company Limited (STELCO) has announced that major maintenance work at the Hulhumalé power plant has been completed ahead of schedule, with all engines now operational and connected to the grid.
As a result, electricity services in both Malé and Hulhumalé have returned to normal. The company confirmed that load shedding measures, which temporarily affected some areas during the morning, have been discontinued, and power has been restored across the entire capital region.
