Call and data services affected briefly, Ooredoo working on fix

Several users reported disruptions to call and mobile data services at around 3:20 p.m. today. Ooredoo Maldives has confirmed the issue, assuring customers that its technical teams are actively working to restore services at the earliest.

Over the phone, the company confirmed: “There is a network issue noticed and we are working on to rectify this at the earliest.”

While the disruption caused inconvenience for many customers, Ooredoo emphasized that immediate steps have been taken to identify the fault and implement solutions.

The provider also highlighted its commitment to minimizing service interruptions and thanked customers for their patience as work continues to bring services back to normal.
