The company confirmed that 132 meters of sheet pile installation have been successfully completed in Segment 1. At the same time, anchoring and reclamation works are actively progressing to enable the road extension and construction of a new quay wall.
MTCC stressed that the project is not only on track but accelerating. Once complete, it will transform mobility in Malé City through modern, pedestrian-friendly roads. The widened lanes will ease traffic congestion, while a new stormwater drainage system will minimize flooding risks during heavy rains—delivering safer, more resilient infrastructure for all.
