President Muizzu Promises Peace, Stability, and Rule of Law for All

By Ahmed Ashraf Published October 1, 2025

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has assured the Maldivian people that his administration will conduct all affairs with justice, fairness, and stability, delivering peace and prosperity without political unrest.

Speaking at a political gathering, Muizzu highlighted that despite inheriting an economy in “ruin and debt,” his government has already achieved milestones such as China’s confirmation of debt relief agreements, while actively reviving stalled development projects across the islands.

The President stressed that his government is non-discriminatory, treating every island and every citizen as equally important. “We are not a government that divides people. For us, every citizen matters” he affirmed.

Reassuring the public, he said: “There is no spirit of revenge or injustice in our administration. We will uphold the rule of law and ensure stability, as the people desired”.
