President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has declared that his administration’s only priority is achieving measurable results for the Maldivian people, emphasizing that every action of the government is directed towards fulfilling its commitments and addressing citizens’ real needs.
Speaking during his visit to Shaviyani Goidhoo as part of his atoll tour, President Muizzu underscored that the purpose of these trips is not symbolic — but a practical effort to meet communities directly, deliver on promises, and identify additional areas requiring government support.
“This government has no interest other than delivering results. Every focus, every effort, is on producing outcomes that make a difference” President Muizzu said.
The President assured residents that issues previously neglected or unresolved will now be properly addressed under his administration. He reaffirmed that both this year and the next will mark a period of visible transformation across all islands as the government fulfills its commitments made during the campaign and beyond.
During the visit, President Muizzu signed key agreements for the development of Goidhoo Harbor and modernization of island roads, further solidifying his administration’s island development agenda. Residents of Goidhoo turned out in large numbers to welcome the President, reflecting strong public confidence in the government’s developmental momentum.
In addition to major infrastructure works, President Muizzu announced several initiatives tailored to Goidhoo’s needs:
- Completion of eight new classrooms to be operational in the next academic year;
- Funding allocation in the upcoming budget for a new football ground;
- Construction of volleyball and handball courts;
- Provision of utility services and agricultural support to enhance local farming productivity.
The President’s commitments in Goidhoo align with his wider national policy — transforming every atoll through targeted investments in education, sports, infrastructure, and livelihoods.
Under President Muizzu’s leadership, the government continues to emphasize results-driven governance — a promise that is steadily reshaping communities across the Maldives, island by island.
