His Excellency Gianni Infantino, President of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), paid a courtesy call on His Excellency President Dr Mohamed Muizzu on Friday evening at the President’s Office.
President Muizzu extended a warm welcome to Infantino, expressing deep appreciation for his visit to the Maldives. The meeting underscored the strong partnership between FIFA and the Maldives, focusing on developing the nation’s most beloved sport and empowering the next generation of Maldivian athletes.

During the discussions, President Muizzu reaffirmed his administration’s firm commitment to elevating football nationwide.
