Ooredoo and Temu Join Forces to Offer Exclusive Ramadan Deals

By Hussain Shinan Published February 3, 2026

Ooredoo Maldives has announced a Ramadan-season partnership with global e-commerce platform Temu, offering customers a USD 100 discount coupon bundle for online shopping through the Temu mobile application.

Under the collaboration, eligible Ooredoo customers who make a transaction of MVR 100 or above via the Ooredoo App will receive the discount bundle, which will be issued directly through the app. The promotion is open to both existing Ooredoo customers and new customers joining the network, subject to eligibility criteria.

Ooredoo said the offer applies to Prepaid, Postpaid, SuperNet, Faseyha and AirFibre customers, and covers a wide range of transactions carried out through the Ooredoo App. These include recharges, bill payments, add-on purchases, pack activations and other supported services.

The telecom provider said the promotion is expected to benefit up to 50,000 customers, providing added value as households across the Maldives prepare for Ramadan — a period marked by increased spending on essentials, gifts, home décor and family needs.

Temu operates as a global one-stop online marketplace, offering products across more than 600 categories, including household items, lifestyle products, electronics and personal goods. Customers who qualify through the Ooredoo App can redeem the USD 100 discount bundle on the Temu mobile application.

Commenting on the collaboration, Ooredoo Maldives Chief Commercial Officer Hussain Niyaz said the initiative reflects evolving consumer habits and growing interest in digital shopping.

“As Maldivians increasingly embrace online shopping, we are pleased to enhance their experience by offering added value through our digital platforms. This partnership with Temu is another step in providing greater convenience and meaningful rewards to our customers,” he said.

Ooredoo noted that the collaboration aligns with its broader efforts to expand digital accessibility and support a more connected lifestyle across the Maldives, particularly during the Ramadan season.
