Dhiraagu Offers Free Calls to UAE and Saudi Arabia as Middle East Tensions Escalate

By Ahmed Ashraf Published 3 hours ago

Dhiraagu has introduced free international calling minutes to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, enabling customers to stay connected with their families and loved ones amid the escalating situation in the Middle East.

In a press release issued in today morning, the company confirmed that customers can now enjoy 30 free minutes of calls to both destinations as part of a temporary support initiative designed to provide reassurance during a period of regional uncertainty.

The offer can be activated by dialing *225#, and customers will have seven days to use the complimentary minutes once activated. Dhiraagu stated that the activation window remains open until 2 March 2026.

The initiative comes at a time when tensions across parts of the Middle East have raised concerns among expatriate communities and families with relatives living or working in the Gulf. The UAE and Saudi Arabia host significant numbers of Maldivians, making uninterrupted communication particularly important during times of instability.

Dhiraagu emphasized its commitment to supporting customers during challenging circumstances, noting that reliable connectivity remains essential when families seek timely updates and reassurance.

The company’s move aligns with broader efforts by Maldivian institutions and corporations to respond proactively to unfolding regional developments, ensuring citizens and residents remain informed and connected.

Further information regarding the offer can be obtained through Dhiraagu’s customer service channels.
