Hundreds Join Allied Hulhumalé Run 2026

Allied Insurance Company of the Maldives and Elite Runners Maldives successfully concluded the Allied Hulhumalé Run 2026 on May 22, bringing together runners, families and fitness enthusiasts for a large-scale celebration of health, wellness and community spirit.

Held in Hulhumalé, the event featured multiple race categories catering to participants of different ages and fitness levels, including the 1 Mile Family Run, 5KM Run, 10KM Run and the 21.1KM Half Marathon.

The event attracted strong participation from across the community, with both competitive runners and casual participants taking part throughout the day.

As part of the event, Allied Insurance provided all registered runners with complimentary Group Personal Accident Cover, offering accidental coverage of up to MVR 100,000 during the event period.

According to the organizers, the initiative was aimed at ensuring added confidence and peace of mind for participants throughout the races.

The run also featured competitive prize categories, with winners recognized across the 5KM, 10KM and Half Marathon divisions.

In the 21.1KM Half Marathon male category, Mohamed Shifaz secured first place, followed by Yoosuf Ibrahim in second and Thitiwat Koosakul in third.

In the female category, Petcharat Chlaadtoy claimed first place, while Aishath Jinanee Ibrahim and Aishath Rishmee finished second and third respectively.

For the 10KM Run male category, first place went to Hussain Fazeel, while Mohamed Irufan and Sathaporn Akkatham secured second and third places.

In the women’s 10KM category, Kanlaya Sankaw finished first, followed by Kamonwan Koednaimongkhon and Anan Ahmed Rasheed.

Meanwhile, the men’s 5KM Run was won by Aidh Abdulla Rifau, with Moosa Favaaz and Mohamed Faseel placing second and third respectively.

In the female 5KM category, Clara Sarena Asif secured first place, followed by Aishath Rishmy and Kiara Afrah Gasim.

The event concluded with a closing ceremony featuring a lucky draw, where 10 participants each received cash prizes of MVR 2,000.

Allied Insurance extended appreciation to Elite Runners Maldives, volunteers, partners, participants and supporters for contributing to what the company described as a successful and memorable community event.
