Malé Resident Drives Away with Dhiraagu’s Final Speedboat Prize

By Hussain Shinan Published 4 hours ago

A Malé resident has been announced as the second and final winner of Dhiraagu’s “Win 2 Speedboats” customer promotion, concluding the telecommunications company’s nationwide giveaway campaign.

The final lucky draw was held on Friday evening at Artificial Beach, where Mohamed Yusuf of Malé won an Al Shaali Marine Canary 28 speedboat powered by a 250-horsepower Yamaha outboard engine.

The winner was selected from eligible Dhiraagu Mobile and Fibre Broadband customers who qualified for the promotion.

To ensure transparency throughout the draw, Dhiraagu appointed Nexia Maldives as an independent auditor. The auditing firm supervised the draw process and was present during the live event to verify the fairness of the selection.

The event attracted a large crowd and featured live entertainment, including performances by the Ekathi Boduberu Group and local artist Sameeu.

The lucky draw was also broadcast live on Television Maldives (TVM), SS TV, and Dhiraagu’s official Facebook and YouTube platforms, allowing customers across the country to follow the announcement.

The “Win 2 Speedboats” campaign was launched as part of Dhiraagu’s customer rewards programme, offering eligible mobile and fibre broadband subscribers the opportunity to win one of two speedboats through a lucky draw.

Dhiraagu said it plans to continue introducing large-scale promotions and customer engagement initiatives as part of its efforts to reward subscribers and support the country’s digital transformation.
