MIFCO Expresses Gratitude to Maldivian Fishermen on Fishermen’s Day

The Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has extended heartfelt greetings to all fishermen across the Maldives on the occasion of Fishermen’s Day.

In a statement, MIFCO paid tribute to the pivotal role fishermen play in shaping the Maldives’ economy and culture. The company acknowledged their tireless dedication and resilience, which sustain the nation’s thriving fisheries industry.

“Today, we honor the hard work, dedication, and resilience of the fishermen of the Maldives, who are at the heart of our island nation’s economy and culture,” read the statement.

Highlighting the significance of their contributions, MIFCO emphasized the critical role of fishermen in maintaining the Maldives’ marine resources, feeding the nation, and supporting local communities.
