Part of Central Majeedhee Magu Closed: Traffic Flow Adjustments Announced

By Ahmed Ashraf Published December 27, 2024

In response to the ongoing flooding issue on Majeedhee Magu in Male’, traffic patterns in the surrounding area are set to change. The Male’ City Council has announced modifications affecting Majeedhee Magu, Chandhanee Magu, and Rahdhebai Magu, effective from December 28, 2024, to January 4, 2025.

To mitigate flooding issues on Majeedhee Magu, the road will be sectioned into blocks for phased work, with the first section already under construction.

The Male’ City Council has provided a map outlining the new traffic routes alongside their announcement and expressed apologies for potential disruptions to motorists.
