This incident follows a series of unexplained deaths in recent weeks, raising concerns within the community. On December 22, a 45-year-old man was found dead inside a residence in the Galholhu ward of Malé. Just a day earlier, on December 21, the body of a 35-year-old man was discovered in another house in the same area.

Earlier in the month, on December 7, a 33-year-old man was found dead on a road in Gaafu Alif Dhaandhoo, while a 36-year-old man was discovered lifeless at a Hulhumalé beach.

As investigations continue, authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report any information that could assist in resolving these cases. The recent string of deaths has prompted renewed calls for enhanced safety measures and greater transparency in ongoing inquiries.
