The National Awards Committee has officially opened the nomination process for the prestigious National Award for Public Service, inviting individuals who have made significant contributions to the public sector to apply.

In a notice published on Sunday in the Government Gazette, the committee outlined the criteria for the award, with nominations now being accepted through the designated portal on the President’s Office website. The submission deadline is set for 1:00 pm on March 18.

The award recognizes individuals who have served for over 35 years in government offices, state-owned enterprises, or companies where the government holds a majority share. Both organizations and individual applicants can submit nominations for eligible candidates.
