Dhiraagu Becomes Digital Partner for 2025 Inter-Office Netball Tournament

By Hussain Shinan Published 5 hours ago

Dhiraagu has announced its partnership as the Digital Partner for the 2025 Inter Office/Company Netball Tournament, strengthening its ongoing commitment to supporting community-focused sporting initiatives in the Maldives.

The annual tournament, organised by the Netball Association of Maldives, officially kicked off on 1 December 2025 at the Netball Synthetic Court and will run until 20 December 2025. The event brings together players representing workplaces and institutions from across the country, making it one of the most anticipated inter-corporate sporting fixtures of the year.

Over 20 Teams Competing Across Two Divisions

This year’s competition features two categories—men’s and women’s divisions—with an impressive turnout of 21 women’s teams and four men’s teams. The tournament is expected to deliver fast-paced matches, strong rivalries and high energy from both players and supporters.

Organisers highlighted that the growing participation reflects the increasing popularity of netball in the Maldives, both as a competitive sport and a recreational activity.

Dhiraagu’s Continued Support for Community Sports

Dhiraagu stated that its involvement aligns with the company’s broader vision to empower youth, promote active lifestyles, and support initiatives that help build stronger communities.

The telecom provider has previously backed numerous sporting, youth, and wellness programmes, reflecting its long-term strategy of contributing to the country’s social development beyond digital connectivity.

As matches progress over the coming weeks, players, corporate teams and fans are expected to gather in large numbers, making this year’s tournament one of the most exciting editions yet.
